A Vital Pit-Stop For Avid Travelers

It was a rather a fine day on 8th of  March 2012, it was business as usual for us here at H2O One Stop (Truck) Sdn. Bhd. When suddenly just as the clock strikes 11.00am just an hour shy from lunch break, an eye catching truck decided to give us the honor of providing service and for a brand new set of tyres. This eye catching truck was a rather peculiar type, as most Malaysian may or may not have seen these type of trucks. Normally reserved for military logistic dispatches, this norm was broken by an avid traveler who decided that the ruggedness of the truck is most suited to be his home, work office, recreational vehicle (RV), and to ignite the dream of many to travel around the world.

These avid travelers are none other than Stefan Sigl and Petra Mester, both German national, the couple have been on the road for two years now, clocking over 40,000km traveled and visited 18 countries since the day the set off from Germany.

The truck, affectionately called HerrMAN, is no laughing matter, powered by an enormous 12.7- liter capacity diesel engine with an output of 380bhp. When Mr Sigl obtained HerrMAN, it was already in a bad shape, so bad that Mr. Sigl had to rebuilt almost 90% of the truck overall.
With the powerful engine, Mr. Sigl also included all the comfort of a home inside the truck, including additional fuel tanks for electricity generation, extra large water tanks for daily use, and a shelf full of supplies that would lasts at least 4 weeks, so he claims. There are also the essentials, satellite navigation, a mini garage for storing a scooter and a bicycle and a storage area stocked full with handheld tools.   

Mr. Sigl is truly a determined and dedicated man, seen from this picture, Mr. Sigl prefers hand on approach in fixing/maintain his truck, HerrMAN and changing of the tyres as well. These attributes of Mr. Sigl is almost if not the same with our ideology of dedication and utmost perfection in service provided. We were truly honored when learned that Mr. Sigl chooses our premise a few days before he sets off to Petaling Jaya for photo-shoot and from there on travels to other countries. We bid Mr. Sigl and Mdm. Mester a roaring success and a sound journey to their goal.
